These symptoms come in 3 stages

Acute Infection

Within 2-4 weeks after exposure, people will experience flu-like symptoms such as:

• Fevers and chills
• Rashes 
• Sore throat
• Fatigue
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Mouth ulcers 

Clinical Latency

   This is the chronic stage in which         the virus begins to multiply; if left untreated, symptoms can go on for as long as 10-15 years

During this stage, symptoms are not noticeable

AIDS

If left untreated, your HIV can lead to AIDS and an even weaker immune system. Symptoms of AIDS include:

• Rapid weight loss
• Fever and night sweats
• Pneumonia
• Oral and genital sores
• Extreme tiredness 
• Swelling of the lymph nodes
• Neurological disorders

Chlamydia can infect any person male or female, but is most commonly seen in young females. This infection is caused by a bacteria known as the Chlamydia Trachomatis. Many people do not experience symptoms when infected which makes it difficult to detect, but any possible symptoms usually appear after a few weeks. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause permanent damages to the female reproductive system.

Symptoms include:

• Abnormal discharge 
• Pain in the pelvis, eyes, testicles, vagina, or during urination 

Gonorrhea  

Gonorrhea is caused when infected with the gonorrhea bacterium. Both men and women can experience several symptoms when infected by gonorrhea. Untreated gonorrhea can increase chances of infertility in both men and women, HIV, and complications in babies.  

 Herpes comes in two virus strains: HSV-1 and HSV-2. More than 50% of people in the US contract HSV-1 and around 15% get HSV-2.

Most symptoms appear after 2 to 12 days of contact. These symptoms include:

• Oral sores
• Throat ache due to ulcers
• Blisters / lesions 
• Burning, itching, or painful lips

 Syphilis symptoms are one of the most difficult to diagnose because they do not appear a majority of the time, making it widely spread. There are three stages to the symptoms. Primary Stage 

• Genital and oral chancres (painless ulcer) 

These ulcers are where you initially got infected, but can easily be mistaken for a pimple, bump, or ingrown hair. These sores are highly contagious so it is important to get tested. 

Secondary stage

• Rashes on palms, sole of feet, and other parts of the body
• Slight fever, muscle aches, headaches, swollen glands
• Genital and oral sores

Late stage

• Tumors
• Blindness
• Paralysis
• Damage to the nervous system and organs

Both infections cause liver damage along with inflammation and comes from infected body fluids. There are different symptoms for Hepatitis B and C.

Hepatitis B Symptoms:

• Jaundice
• Fever
• Persistent fatigue
• Abdomen pain
• Light colored feces

Hepatitis C Symptoms:

• Swollen legs
• Easy bleeding and bruising
• Jaundice
• Dark-colored urine
• Fluid build-up in abdomen
